Mosaic Community Church
NOT AS YOU SHOULD BE
NOT AS YOU SHOULD BE
Mosaic Community Church was formed as a response by God to the current culture of our day. We’re a ragamuffin church for a ragamuffin people. In a church culture lost in promoting itself and longing for popularity, MCC is a far cry from what “traditional” church has become. We are a small intimate group of believers who are working towards being what the original church was intended to be.
Acts 2:44-47 reads, "And all the believers met together in one place and shared everything they had. They sold their property and possessions and shared the money with those in need. They worshiped together at the Temple each day, met in homes for the Lord’s Supper, and shared their meals with great joy and generosity all the while praising God and enjoying the goodwill of all the people. And each day the Lord added to their fellowship those who were being saved.”
We’re not perfect. As a matter of fact, our hope is that through our honest and transparent approach to our brokenness you might witness the grace of Christ Jesus and experience the glory of God. A common phrase you might hear among our family of believers is a quote from Brennen Manning, “God loves you just as you are, not as you should be, for none of us are as we should be.”
We aren't your parents church. We are a different church. We aren’t the popular church. We are more like an underground church trying as hard as we can to honor God in a way that brings more attention to him than us. We aren’t a church that places value in money, technology, or whatever the latest cool trends are. We are a church that values relationships and family. We don’t have a huge fancy building. We meet in a local restaurant and our needs are met through the grace of Christ.
If you’re looking for something simple, for something genuinely authentic, for something honest and inviting...You are invited.
